About

A school of magic for your family, celebrating kindness and effort.

What it is

Magic House Points turns your family into a school of magic. Each child is sorted into their own house with a crest and a house name, and the grown-ups award or take away points for the things that matter: kindness, effort, helping out, and the occasional wet towel on the bathroom floor.

Every entry goes into the Book of Records with who gave it, how many points, a clear reason, the date and time, and an optional photo. If someone makes a mistake, they record a correction with a reason. You can delete your account and its entries in Settings.

How it works

  1. Name your school of magic. Create an account with your email (no password) and give your school of magic a name.
  2. Sort your children. Each child answers a few questions, the hat thinks it over, and out comes a house name and crest they can change if they like.
  3. Award points with a reason. Give a reason of 1–300 words.
  4. Invite the other grown-ups. Parents, grandparents and caregivers join with a one-time invite link.
  5. Share the scoreboard. Give the kids a view-only link they can watch but never change.

Why every point has a reason

A clear reason helps children understand what went well or what needs to change. The Book of Records lets your family look back on those moments and follow corrections when mistakes happen.
