Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Magic House Points (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. The Service is operated by Seamless Events & Marketing LLC, St. Louis, Missouri, USA (“we”, “us”).

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Accounts are for parents, guardians, grandparents and other caregivers. Children may watch a scoreboard through a view-only link that a grown-up shares with them, but may not create accounts.

3. Your account

Keep access to your email and any account password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at if you think someone else has accessed it.

4. Your points history

Saved entries aren’t edited individually. Check the person, points, reason and photo before confirming, and record a new entry to correct a mistake. Deleting your account removes the entries you recorded, including reasons and photos, and removes their points from current totals. If you are the last grown-up in your school, it also deletes the whole school. Personal data deletion requests and backup retention are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your content

You own what you enter: names, house names, reasons and photos (“Your Content”). You give us a limited permission to store, display and transmit Your Content only to run the Service. We don’t claim ownership of it and won’t use it for marketing without your consent.

Only enter information about children you are responsible for or have permission to include, and keep reasons and photos kind and appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

• harass, shame, threaten or harm anyone, including in reasons or photos;
• upload illegal, sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content;
• try to access schools or data that aren’t yours, or break, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service;
• create fake accounts or misuse invite and view-only links;
• break any law.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Sharing links

Anyone holding one of your view-only links can see your school’s scoreboard, feed and photos, and anyone holding an unused invite link can join your school as a grown-up. You are responsible for who you share them with. Revoke links you no longer need.

8. Price

The Service is currently free. If we ever add paid features, prices will be shown clearly before you buy anything, and you can request a full refund within 30 days of your first purchase by emailing .

9. Availability

We provide the Service “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or pause features. We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime.

10. Not affiliated

Magic House Points is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Warner Bros. Entertainment, J.K. Rowling or the Wizarding World. All names, crests and artwork in the Service are original.

11. Disclaimers and limits

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SEAMLESS EVENTS & MARKETING LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Ending your use

You can delete your account in Menu → Settings → Your account, or ask us to do it by email. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts others at risk. Deletion follows the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in St. Louis, Missouri.

14. Changes

If we change these Terms in an important way, we’ll update the “Last revised” date and post a notice on the site. Using the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
